Elvis Mahan

Elvis Hank Mahan the son of Robert Mahan and Louise Lusk was born January 2,1961 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 4,2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 6 months and 2 days.

Elvis enjoyed life and loved spending time with family and friends. His Grandmother Sarah Pigeon was his hero and taught him how to play baseball. He loved the University of Oklahoma. He enjoyed any OU sports, but he especially liked OU Football. He was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His passion and love for sports led to a career in sports media. He enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. Elvis also loved animals and is a veteran of the US Army. Elvis touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a loving family which includes his fiance' Melissa Mayes of Tahlequah; his son Brian Gooden and wife Elizabeth Valentine of Stillwater and his brother Warren Center of Norman. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.
