Eunice Virgie Nail the daughter of Thomas and Bessie Mae (Horn) Morris was born October 14, 1930 in Cookson, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 2, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 18 days.
Eunice enjoyed life and she loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a helper to anyone or anything and had a heart for helping. She worked the Senior Citizens in Tahlequah for nearly 30 years and helped at the
Cookson Senior Citizens as well. She was willing to give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it. She would take care of dogs and cats and loved them dearly. She enjoyed watching the birds and always had a feeder out for them. She loved her flowers and was
very proud of them.
Eunice was a people person and she loved people. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas Aquilla Nail; 2 children Michael Reid Nail and Kathryn Nail; 1 sister Sue Parker; 1 brother Bill Guthrie and a great-great grandson Jesco Stratton.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Jackie Thomas Nail, Joe Edward Nail and wife Sue and Judy Lynne Stratton and husband Darrell all of Cookson; her sister Mary Guthrie of Hot Springs, AR; her brothers Paul Guthrie of Cookson and Tommy Guthrie of Point Cedar, AR; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
