Eva Marie Davis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Marie Davis, 79, a beloved resident of Westville, Oklahoma. She left this world peacefully on October 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Eva was born on April 8, 1947, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Roy Peace and Mary (Kirk) Peace, who have both preceded her in death.

Eva's life was a testament to kindness and dedication. She proudly served as a teacher aide at Westville Public Schools, where she touched the lives of many students and families. Additionally, she cherished her role as a beautician, operating her own shop from home for many years, where she formed lasting friendships with her clients.

Eva had a passion for music; she loved fishing, writing songs, and sharing her melodies with those around her. Her spirit, warmth, and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Gary Davis; her son, Kevin Davis; and her cherished grandchildren, Lawrence Davis and Kasey Davis. She is also survived by her loving siblings: Wilson (Inez) Peace, Jack (Sharon) Peace, and Virginia (Marshall) Thompson. Eva was preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Essary and Cathryn Bailey, as well as her daughter-in-law, Brandi Davis.

A public viewing will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, where family and friends are invited to join together in memory of Eva. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 2 PM at the Tahlequah City Cemetery, where we will lay her to rest with love and honor.

Eva's legacy of love and kindness will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
