Florence Amy (Webb) Dixon; the daughter of George Henry and Viola Ruth (Schwartje) Webb was born June 2, 1929, in Ridgewood, Queens, New York and departed this life on August 8, 2019, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Florence enjoyed life and loved her family. She was very supportive of missions and missionaries, and always tried to be a positive influence on those around her. She was active in church, including being a leader in Pioneer Girls, where she guided many young women to accept Christ as their personal Savior. She was a proponent of Go Ye Village and served on its board for a number of years. She was a devoted wife to her husband Donald, loved cats, knitting and daisies, touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Arthur Frederick Dixon, mother-in-law Gertrude Elizabeth (Reed) Dixon, her husband Donald Arthur Dixon, her son Peter Donald Dixon and her brother Roy and sister-in-law Dorothy (Dixon) Webb.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her sons, Chris Dixon of McKinney, TX, and Bob and his wife Andrea Dixon of San Diego, CA; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and an extended family of friends that will greatly miss her.
