Galela Johnson

Galela Mae Johnson, passed away at home in Welling, Oklahoma, on Monday, December 14, 2020. Galela was born on August 18, 1929, to Neal and Ethel Lou Collins. The youngest of four girls, she grew up around Welling and the Tailholt area. She married Columbus Rice Johnson on February 20, 1946. They had 6 children, 21 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren (plus 2 more on the way); and countless nephews, nieces, loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, husband, daughter-Elaine and husband Delmar Jennings, son- Tim and wife Georgia Johnson, Son Dwight Johnson, and great-granddaughter- Gabriealla O'Neal.

She loved having family dinners and playing games- mostly skipbo and aggrevation. She enjoyed quilting with the sisters from church, and loved when the young kids would visit and sing. She loved church, the brethren and showing hospitality. For 91 years she has been a great example of faith and love. She lived a full life surrounded by family and friends.
