George Sweet

George Keith Sweet was born March 13, 1961 to Earl & Dorothy Sweet at Welling, OK. He attended Caney School until the school closed. Then, he attended Tenkiller until the family moved to Sallisaw in 1973. The family moved back to Welling in 1976.

At the age of 16, he was baptized by Bro. George Sweet, into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on July 23 rd 1977. He married Alma Terrell in November 20th, 1978. From this marriage, they had 2 children. Erin Sweet in 1986 & Lucas Sweet in 1987. They divorced in 1988. He married June Garner in October 2013 and divorced in March 2018.

He was a very skilled cabinet builder by trade, a loving father, brother & grandfather. He has 3 granddaughters and 4 grandsons. He was very proud to be their "Papa".

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew. Keith leaves behind his children, Luke Sweet & wife Ashley, his daughter Erin Sweet, his grandchildren, Zane, Kylee, Ashla,

Cameron, Fyn, Ella & Cash all of Tahlequah; His siblings, Becky Jennings & husband John of Vici; Troy Sweet & wife Marcia; Joe

Sweet & wife Dana; Kathy Sweet; Kelli Catron & husband Junior; Sean Sweet & wife Melissa all of Welling; Jake Sweet & wife Amanda of Stilwell; Amanda Stromsoe of California; plus many nieces & nephews.

Keith had a great love for his brethren and the faith. He remained faithful through his sickness and passed with a great hope. In his final hour, he had a great peace.
