Glenda Grant

Glenda Jean Grant, daughter of Robert Ernest and Laura May (Owens) Youngman, was born September 23, 1955, in Indio, California and departed this life on April 1, 2020, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 6 months and 9 days.

Glenda enjoyed life and she loved her family. She was very proud of her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Glenda also looked forward to getting together with family and friends to play cards and games. She loved a good bargain and enjoyed finding them at yard sales and flea markets. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and was very proud of each of them. Glenda touched many lives over the years and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Robert E. Youngman Jr.; and her sister Donna Carson.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband of over 45 years, Donald Grant of the home; her children Ravonda Higgins and husband Stephen of Bixby, Michael Grant of Tulsa and Derrick Grant and wife Bailey of Park Hill; her brothers, Ron Youngman of Twentynine Palms, CA, and Larry Youngman of Indio, CA; her sister Carolyn Kester and husband Roger of Stilwell; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
