Glenda Green

Glenda Jean Green the daughter of Earl and Ruby (Sellers) Green was born August 31, 1959, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 28, 2022, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 27 days.

Glenda loved life and she loved her family. She loved being out on the lake whether she was fishing or swimming. She loved to go to Carter's Landing and watch the eagles. She enjoyed driving through Cookson Refuge looking for wildlife. She loved to cook and always made huge meals for the family and holidays as well as cooking for church camps at TBA and Falls Creek. She was proud of her children and she adored her grandchildren. Being a Grandma was her favorite thing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very active member of the Carter Baptist Church and Victory Southern Baptist Church. Glenda touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Ruby (Sellers) Green.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Nicholas Burkholder and wife Ashley of Cookson, Whitney Wolf and husband Bird of Tahlequah and Lindsey Green and Donnie Chasteen of Inola; her sisters Earlene Burkholder and husband Jon of Wichita, KS, Theresa Turner of Tahlequah, Rhonda McGuire and husband Kevin of Bartlesville and Lloyd Green of Park Hill; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
