Gloria Marie Williford Wilson

Gloria Marie Williford Wilson, 80, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 24, 2025, at her home.

Gloria was born July 10, 1945, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, the daughter of Walter and Jewel Etta Fidler Foster. Gloria loved the Lord and was a member of Carter Baptist Church. She went to work in a nursing home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 18, and worked there for many years. She also worked in a sewing factory in Tahlequah, off and on from 1975 to 1986 and later went to work in management at Family Dollar in Tahlequah.

Gloria married her high school sweetheart, Bill Williford in April of 1965. Mr. Williford passed away on April 25, 1999. Gloria later met James Wilson of Park Hill in July of 2007 and they married March 15, 2012. Gloria loved going camping, fishing, and baking cookies with her great granddaughters, Mya, Aubree, and Paisley. She loved going to Branson, Missouri and spending time with her best friend, Wilma. While in Branson, She, Wilma and James would often go to Siver Dollar City. She loved going dancing every Friday night, working in the church kitchen, and helping with VBS. She loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Bill Williford, second husband, James Wilson, her brother, Gary Foster, and two sisters, Sara and Angela Cooper.

She is survived by her four children, Joe Williford and his wife, Leah, Ann Morton and her husband, Tony; step-daughter, Kathy Perchway and her husband Bob; stepson, Jim Wilson; three sisters, Shirley Stinett, Debra Speck, Barbara Foster; sister-in-law, Connie Foster, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation Monday, December 1, 2025, 4:00 to 6:00 PM, at Hart Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of Hart Funeral Home.
