Harold O'Fields

With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we announce the passing of Harold Wayne O'Fields, who left this world on August 18, 2025, at the age of 66. Harold was born on April 9, 1959, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to the late Joe William O'Fields and Ina Lou (Stilley) O'Fields.

Harold will be honored with a heartfelt funeral service at Hart Funeral Home on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11 AM, with a public viewing starting at 10 AM. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Long Prairie Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life and memory.

He is survived by his loving children, Kaci and husband Travis Coffman and Dewayne and wife Lakeila O'Fields along with his adored grandchildren: Makayla O'Fields, Krisslyn O'Fields, Mariah O'Fields, Kymbrie Coffman, Masey Coffman, and Kaylie Coffman. Harold shared unique bonds with his family, including his special nephew, TJ Leggett, and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish their memories of him.

He was a loving and devoted grandpa to Makayla, Krisslyn, Mariah, Kymbrie, Masey, and Kaylie.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ruth Colbert, Marilyn Leggett, Mary O'Fields Leach, and his infant sister, Virginia Ruth O'Fields, as well as his brothers Sam O'Fields, Joseph O'Fields, David O'Fields, and his infant brother, Jimmy Dale O'Fields, and his grandson, Masen Coffman and one special cousin, Sequoyah Guess.

A passionate musician at heart, Harold found joy in listening to and playing drums for gospel music. He began his musical journey playing with his brother David in the local band, The Cummings Family. Together, with his brother, David, and cousin, Sequoyah Guess formed the southern gospel group, New Joy, where they recorded several albums and created original songs.

As we gather to celebrate Harold's life, let us remember the fond memories and his dedication his grandchildren.
