Harrel Phillip Brooner

Harrel Phillip Brooner, 83, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025.

Born January 31, 1942, in San Bernadino, California, to Clarence and Geneva O’Shield Brooner, he served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1964.

A lifelong car salesman, Mr. Brooner enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife Carol June Buffington Brooner, his children, and grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

On March 10, 2025, he fulfilled a dream by participating in the 12th Warrior Flight to Washington D.C.
