Hazel Terrell

Hazel L. "Topsy" Terrell the daughter of James and Henrietta (Carlile) Smith was born February 26, 1917 in Cookson, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 16, 2017 in Park Hill, Oklahoma at the age of 100 years, 3 months and 21 days.

Hazel lived in the Park Hill area all of her life. She married Charlie Terrell on November 27, 1935 in Qualls, Oklahoma and to this union 6 children were born. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Hazel also
enjoyed reading, sewing and flower gardening, she had quite the green thumb. Hazel touched many lives over the years of her life and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charlie Terrell; her sons Bill, Harley and Donald Terrell; her brothers Leo and Vancil Smith; and her sisters Pauline Thompson, Pat Jones, and Ada Rudd.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Jim Terrell and wife Linda of Eucha, Nelda Ritchie and husband Jimmy of Keys, and Dewey Terrell and wife Beatrice of Park Hill; her sister Ruth Guinn of Springdale, AR; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
