Heath Sunday

Heath Warren Sunday the son of Silas and Stephanie (Hall) Sunday was born January 15, 1974, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 25, 2021, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years, 5 months and 10 days.

Heath loved his family dearly. He enjoyed spending time together with family and friends. He loved the outdoors whether he was fishing, hunting, off-roading, mudding, hunting Bigfoot or just working on metal art. He was a welder by trade and was a certified welding inspector. He enjoyed his hot rods and motorcycles. Traveling with his wife was always an adventure, they would come to a crossroad and flip a coin to decide which direction to go. Heath had a huge heart, and it was filled with love for his family. He touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother Stephanie Sunday.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Melinda Sunday of the home; his daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth Sunday and Travis Trantham of Tahlequah, Maria Joice and Seth Blossom of Tahlequah and Kagen Guthrie and Eli Knott of Tahlequah; his father Silas Sunday Sr. of Welling; his father-in-law and mother-in-law John Jr. and Fran Joice of Peggs and his brothers Silas Sunday II and wife Amy of Tennessee, and Jim Howard and wife Beth of Sand Springs. Several bonus children, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
