Hork Smith

Hork Anthony Smith, 54, of Tahlequah, OK passed away on May 16, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK. Hork was born May 6, 1965 in Tahlequah, OK to James Smith and Lois (Dodd) Smith. He attended Tahlequah Elementary School and graduated from GansHigh School.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and one brother, Dennis Smith. And a very special dog named Bone.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Ashley of Stillwater; and son, Tyler of Tulsa; one sister, Theresa Southerland and her husband David of Tahlequah; brothers, Kevin Smith and his wife Tami of Tahlequah and Greg Smith, of Hominy; one granddaughter and two grandsons; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Hork also leaves behind many special friends that cared for him the last 22 years.

Before Hork's life changing car wreck in 1997, he enjoyed spending time with his children, spending time at the lake, floating the river, and listening to music.

Graveside Services for Hork will be Monday, May 20, 2019. The service will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the Tahlequah City Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with David Jones officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
