Jack Bailey

July 6, 1933 — May 26, 2016

Jack E. Bailey the son of Wilson and Helen (Gilliland) Bailey was born July 6, 1933 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 26, 2016 in Jenks, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Jack served his country proudly for over 26 years in the United States Air Force. He served in Korea and Vietnam. Jack worked for the Department of Defense for many years after his retirement from the military. He was an avid sports fan and he participated in several sports over the years. He earned the Golden Glove of Boxing for Oklahoma and also for the Air Force. He enjoyed nature and loved spending time golfing, fishing or flying his plane. Jack touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty Bailey.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his daughter Cheryl Lueck and husband Gary of Albequerque, NM and his sister Betty Bailey and husband Gary Weiss of Cypress, TX. Many friends and other relatives also survive him.
