James Center

James Daley Center the son of Lee Center and Rose (Lunsford) Irby was born August 17, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 12, 2021, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 26 days.

Daley enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to fish and just be around the water. Taking care of his grandkids meant the world to him. He loved to take them out for pizza. He enjoyed sitting outside with a good cup of coffee, conversation with loved ones and just enjoying the beauty of life. He loved his family dearly. Daley touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Dawn Patterson and great-granchildren Acadia Reign Mason and Lupe Marez.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children James Center Jr., Jamie Blessman and husband Ernie, and Alice Center; his brother Ewell Center and wife Marty; his sisters Lisa Center Theresa Center and Jewell Hendrix; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
