He is survived by his wife Tommie Ruth of the home, one son Tommy Coleman and wife Cindy of Holley Mountain, AR, one daughter April Rich and husband Jeff of Siloam Springs, AR, grandchildren, Tommy James Coleman and wife Lori of Searcy, AR, Ryan Mort and wife Danielle or Prosper, TX, Paul Mort and wife Regan of Lindale, TX, Ashley Caudle and husband Christopher of Stilwell, OK, Seth Rich and wife Aubrey of Sallisaw, OK, Heath Rich of Moline, IL, great grandchildren, Reed and Charlie Kate Mort and one more great grandson on the way, brothers, Gerald, Clyde, Jerry, and sister, Gracie Ford, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death, by his brothers, Bill and Harold Coleman.

James retired from Franklin Electric after 31 years of dedicated service, beginning his career in Production, following as a Maintenance Supervisor and working his way up to a Manufacturing Engineer.

Jim as many knew him by, had many honors and passions over the years. Among his many talents and honors, he was recognized at the corporate level for design of a motor assembly process change that the company still utilizes today.

He was a proud Veteran and had served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. He found it humorous that he was scolded for marching out of step in basic training and later became an Honor Guard leader. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. You could always find him tinkering, designing and building anything from a flower bed to a church building.

He had a brilliant technical mind, but his biggest job and passion in life was to be a Christian sharing his witness with others. He was a Deacon at Proctor Baptist Church where he dedicated his service. He was a wonderful husband, father, pa, and grandfather that was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. He was loved by all those who knew him.
