Janice Hart

Janice Sue (Hill) Hart was born on April 21, 1933, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, to John and Jewel (Bigby) Hill. She passed to her heavenly home on December 25, 2025.

Graveside Services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Stilwell City Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.

Janice married Harold Ray Hart in 1950, and together they were blessed with five children. While raising their family, Janice worked alongside Harold Ray to establish funeral homes in Westville, Tahlequah, and Stilwell, Oklahoma. They shared 40 years of marriage before Harold Ray's passing in 1990.

Janice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was marked by faith, hard work, and a deep commitment to serving others.

She is survived by her four daughters and one son: Brenda Mackey, Karen Hart, Barbara (Ken) Cooper, Sam (Lisa) Hart, and Kathleen (Merle) Jones; six grandsons: Brian (Ashley) Mackey, Joe (Joyce) Dotson, Ryan (Tiffani) Cooper, Kelly (Aimee) Cooper, Jonathan (Courtney) Hart, and Robert Hart; eleven great-grandchildren; and her brother, Jerry Bob Hill of Stilwell, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ray Hart; her parents, John and Jewel Hill; her brothers, Joe Hill and Roy "Cotton" Hill; and her sisters, Johnnye Marie Smith and Leta Mae Dawson.
