Jerry was born September 11, 1954 in Tahlequah the son of Arvil Walton and Dolly Evelyn Hobbs Cole. He had lived in the Lowrey area since 1961. On August 16, 1974 he was married to Margie Karen Doss in Tahlequah. The couple just celebrated their 40th anniversary.
He was a graduate of Oklahoma State Tech and worked in the metal fabrication industry. He worked for several years as a Quality Control Inspector for Express. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing especially trout fishing working his cattle, working on tractors and building things. He was a member of Liberty Grace Chapel where he taught Sunday School and occasionally preached. Jerry was a member of the Lowrey Volunteer Fire Dept for 27 years.
Jerry is survived by his wife Margie, of the home three daughters, Malesha and her husband Steven Thomas, Marisa Cole and Annie and her husband Anthony Swaim all of Tahlequah his mother, Dolly Cole of Tahlequah two brothers, Michael Cole and wife Nancy and Terry Cole and wife Annette all of Tahlequah one sister Carolyn and husband Steve Hadden of Tahlequah three grandchildren, Hayden Grace Thomas, Heath Wayne Thomas and Landon Thomas Dunham. He was preceded in death by his father Arvil Cole.
