Jess Drywater

Jess Lee Drywater the son of Ross Allen and Josephine (Dreadfulwater) Drywater was born September 29, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on April 20, 2016 in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years, 6 months and 22 days.

Jess enjoyed many things in life. He worked in construction as a concrete finisher. He enjoyed working on cars and could fix nearly anything. He also enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. He was a boxer when he was younger and fought in several bouts.
Jess touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Julie Kay Drywater and his brother Allen Ross Drywater.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his son Matthew Drywater and wife Crystal of Duckwater, NV; his sisters Nichole Decker of Dallas, TX, Dora Dunn of Tahlequah, and Novaline Drywater Steeley and husband Graig of Tahlequah; his step mother Christine Drywater; his step sister Katherine Roastingear and step brothers Martin Roastingear and Franklin Roastingear; his brothers Wesley Drywater of Tahlequah and August Dean Drywater of Stilwell; and his granddaughter Nadia Drywater. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
