Jessie Coulter

September 8, 1935 — April 12, 2018

Reflections of the life of Jessie Coulter

On September 8, 1935 God sent us one of his angels, Jessie Mae Coulter. Born in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Jess Cooper and EuWala Sanders Cooper. Jessie received her educational training at Lincoln High School. Jessie later went to work for Owens Brockway where she worked for 17 years before retiring.

Jessie met, loved and later married Ernest Eugene Coulter and to this union added two daughters, Emma Wilson Perez (William),Theresa Coulter, and a great grandson Cole Coulter that she raised as one of her own. Jessie was a longstanding member of Four Mile Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Terry Kirts. Jessie loved her church home, and her entire church family. She enjoyed life and she loved her family dearly. In addition to caring extensively for her family, she also took care of countless others in the community.

Jessie had a love for the simple things in life, such as, watching birds fly, gardening, playing bingo and of course a slot machine or two. Jessie enjoyed watching Steve Harvey and often times arranged her schedule to ensure she could watch him on TV. Jessie was very involved socially with her family and friends, and some of her most memorable times were spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and definitely her great-great grandchildren.
On Thursday April 12, 2018, Jessie departed this life, and went to her heavenly home. She was met at Heaven's gate by family and extended family members.
