Jimmie Ray Duffield, 72, a lifelong resident of Tahlequah, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was born in Tahlequah, to the late Jessie "Pete" Duffield and Imogene (Hensley) Duffield.
Funeral Service will be 10 AM, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Elm Tree Baptist Church, 1390 E Crafton Street Tahlequah, OK 74464 with burial to follow at Manus Cemetery.
A public viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah from 11 AM until 4 PM.
Jimmie joined the Army and served two tours in Vietnam. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, canoeing, and riding horses. Jimmie so much enjoyed being on the water along with his family and friends. He was a true "Country Boy" and an avid outdoorsman. Jimmie was proud to live on his farm where he could be found cutting wood and making his friends and family laugh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers; Lloyd Lee Duffield, Bobbie Dean Duffield, and Wesley Jean Duffield, infant sister, Brenda Sue Duffield, and sister-in-law, Nancy Duffield.
Survivors include his children; Shantana Reasor (Jeremy Sixkiller), James Ray Duffield, Jeremy Ray Duffield, Joshua Ray Duffield, brothers; Floyd Duffield, Darryl Duffield, Gary Duffield, Kenneth (Tammi) Stark, Edgar (Shannon) Stark, Retha (Walter, Jr.) Trammell, and Barbara Cross, sister-in-law, Connie Duffield, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
