Jimmie Dewayne Woodard was born on September 13, 1959, to Jimmie Lee and Rowena Woodard.
Funeral Service will be 11 AM, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Calvary Assembly of God Church, burial to follow at Tahlequah City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, March 10,2026, at Hart Funeral Home Chapel.
He graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1977. He graduated from OSU Tech Okmulgee in 1985. He worked in accounting with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Cherokee Nation.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Dwight Lee and Rotreba and brother-in-law Donald Lee Blackbird.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Anno Woodard. Jim and former spouse Diane Huntington with her husband Tony remained friends and co-parents to their children. Adam Woodard (Chief) and wife Joy, Amanda Hicks (Mandy) and husband Jim, Ashley Heaps (Sissy) and husband Jeff, Alex Woodard (Bub) and wife Melody, Leona Johnson (Beona Grasshopper), Brandy Baillie. Along with his grandchildren Malachi, Xavier, Gaven, Shyone, William, Kendyl, Zander, Ryker, Luke, Otto, Leo, Lincoln, and Oscar.
One of his greatest joys was coaching hundreds of boys in little league baseball and one season of girls' softball. He coached 21 seasons in total. He enjoyed family gatherings and seeing friends who became family. He brought the party with him with snapping fingers and loud laughter. He loved deer hunting. He was a lifelong member of the Raider Nation. He also loved playing games with his friends and family. His Moody family: the Ganns, Mouses, Turners all have stories of playing 104 with him. Late night card games or dominoes and horseshoes, croquet, and badminton were some of his favorites.
Jimmie Dewayne never met a stranger and truly loved his family. Boomer Sooner!
