Joseph Vanbuskirk

Joseph Wayne VanBuskirk was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 1, 1960, to Joe and Juanita (Thompson) VanBuskirk. He departed from this life on May 5, 2022, in Lindsey, Oklahoma, at the age of 62. Joseph attended school in Tulsa and Coweta. After completing school, he joined the United States Air Force. After completing boot camp, he was stationed in Altus, Oklahoma. Joseph was a carpenter by trade. He was very artistic and enjoyed doing woodwork. He loved to fish, spend time outdoors and work on cars.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joe VanBuskirk, sister, Velna VanBuskirk, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Juanita, of Peggs, OK, his sister, Vicki Beaver and husband, Gilbert, of Peggs, son Zachery VanBuskirk, of Tahlequah, OK, two daughters, Brittney and Casey, of Rocky Ford, OK, and several grandchildren. He leaves behind a host of family and friends.
