Junior Dodd

Junior Allen Dodd the son of James L. and Polly (Tennison) Dodd was born October 2, 1939 in Cherokee County, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 2, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years and 5 months.

Junior enjoyed life and he loved his family. He was in the floor covering trade and he enjoyed working and helping family when they needed him. Junior had a heart for people and he loved helping anyone. He had several concession machines, cotton candy, sno cone and popcorn, and he would make them for all the neighborhood kids. Family gatherings was something he wouldn't miss as his family was important to him. Junior enjoyed traveling and seeing the country. Junior touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Peggy (Beaver) Dodd; his daughter Jo Ann Dodd; his brother James S. Dodd and his sister Ela May Dodd.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his his children Charles Andrew Dodd and Patti SuAnn Dodd; his three grandchildren Aaron Dodd, Tawnee Thompson and Daniel Duarte and his three great grandchildren Jesus Acosta, Yesenia Thompson and Alyssia Thompson. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
