Karen Alicia Hernandez the daughter of Martin Benge and Peggy (Scott) Williamson was born May 12, 1947, in Oklahoma City, OK, and departed this life on June 26, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 69 years one month and 14 days.
Karen enjoyed traveling, was adventurous and was up to go anywhere. She greatly enjoyed all kinds of music and loved going to concerts. She also enjoyed reading, planting flowers, talking sports as well as playing softball and basketball in her youth, going antiquing
and to "garage sale-ing", being with people, beading and sewing. She was proud of the home she built and owned, she loved being with family and friends, playing with her grand-dog Amelia. She was a hard worker who served the Cherokee people for over 27 years and
possessed a great sense of humor. She enjoyed life and loved unconditionally. Karen touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Karen was preceded in death by her father and grandmother, "Granny" Carrie Scott.
She is survived by a loving family with includes her daughter Carrie Moore of Tahlequah, OK; her mother Peggy Scott Williamson of Tahlequah; siblings, Scott Williamson of Tahlequah, OK; Sandra Vaughan of Sapulpa, OK; Cathie Carothers of Ft. Towson, OK; daughter's half siblings,
Deanna Wickings, Howard Wickings, and Kira Wickings all of Michigan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
