Kelly Barnes

Kelly Jean Barnes the daughter of Robert and Gee-Ga-Lee-Lee (O'Field) Detlefsen was born January 6, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on May 24, 2019 in Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 4 months and 18 days.

Kelly enjoyed life and she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She and her husband Mick prospected gold in Alaska and into Canada. She always enjoyed combing the beaches for glass. She enjoyed her time in Alaska and loved to ride her fourwheeler with her dog Blackie. Picking blueberries was another thing that she enjoyed. Kelly touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Eugene "Mick" Barnes.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her siblings Floyd Holcomb and wife Susan of Houston, Greg Holcomb and wife Marilyn of Tulsa, Beth Phillips of Jay, Robert Quinton and wife Connie of Jay, Jamie Husong and husabnd Chuck McElroy of Grove, and Quahnah Quinton of Jay. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
