Ladonna Caviness

LaDonna Gay Eddings Caviness was born February 23, 1943 in Coalgate, OK to Elmo Eddings and Evelyn (Thomas) Eddings. She was he second of five children. She departed this life on January 1, 2022, at here home in Eldon, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 6 days.
She graduated from Tahlequah High School then graduated from Northeastern State College with a teaching degree.
On May 15, 1965 she married Lee Don Caviness. LaDonna was retired from teaching. She taught three years in Albuquerque, NM and 30 years in the Tulsa public school system.
LaDonna enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and all kinds of arts and crafts. She volunteered many years for the Tahlequah City Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband. She is survived by her siblings Charline Long and husband J.C., Tommy Eddings and wife Alene, Sue Shankle and husband Audie, Bonnie Kile. Many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
