Laveita Richardson

Laveita Evelyn Richardson the daughter of Heyo Frederick and Florine Lucille (Hudson) Groenewold was born June 6, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas and departed this life on June 3, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 28 days.

Laveita was a kind and loving person who enjoyed helping people. She adopted everyone into her family and treated you like family. She worked for many years as a Special Education Teacher in Kansas. She loved teaching and enjoyed spending time with her students.
She also enjoyed working on taxes and running all the numbers. Laveita loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Laveita touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Fred Groenewold and Billy Ray Groenewold and her sister Opal Bruce.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Edward Earl Richardson of the home; her children Dennis Richardson and wife Janice of Bainbridge, GA, Michael Richardson and wife Jean of Medford, DE, and Donald W. Richardson and wife Lisa of Peggs, OK;
her sister Betty Lybarger of Marshal, MO; her brothers Ben Groenewold of Cherokee, NC, and Leslie Groenewold of Kentucky; 5 grandchildren Elizabeth, Sarah, Micheal, Kimberly and Carl; 8 great grandchildren Sarah, Ramon, Madison, Emilio, Carson, Dirk, Billie Jo, Janice. Many nieces, phews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
