Lawanda Harms

Lawanda Francis Harms the daughter of Chester and Hattie Lee (Bell) Brantley was born November 13, 1928 in Tolbert, Texas and departed this life to be with her Lord on January 10, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 28 days.

Lawanda was a loving and caring lady who enjoyed her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and enjoyed working in the church, especially with the children and youth. She loved to teach and work beside her husband in the chapel on the various military bases where they were stationed. She enjoyed cooking and baking and she loved to make exotic dishes for the family. Lawanda loved her children and grandchildren. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband of over 70 years S.A. Harms of the home; her children Rickey Dan Harms and wife Crystal of Jay, OK and Elletra Marie Harms of Beatrice, NE; her brother Heber Brantley and wife Katharine of Vernon,TX; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Several friends and other relatives also survive her.
