Leahann Ewing

LeahAnn Marie Ewing the daughter of Steven and Jo (Srader) Ewing was born October 1, 1981 in McAlester, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 27, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 36 years, 3 months and 26 days.

Leah was her own woman and had her own ideas about life and living. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her boys. She loved country living and she loved horses, the chickens, her dogs and John Deere tractors. She enjoyed watching The Walking Dead and she loved to decorate with skulls. Her favorite drink was Jack Daniels and she'd drink it with or without coke. She worked for the Cherokee County Sherriff Department for over 8 years and she loved her job. Leah was a go getter. It's often been said that dynamite comes in small packages and she was a stick of dynamite. Leah touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, brother Tommy Metcalf and her grandparents John and Rose Srader.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her mother Jo Srader of the home; her boys Cole Green and Braxton McCarty both of the home; her sister Steva Christian and husband Robert of Nolanville, Texas; her brother Jason Ewing of Virginia; her nephew and her nieces. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives also survive her.
