Lei Lani Girdner

It is with great sadness that the family of Lei Lani Ruth Girdner announce her passing on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the age of 73.

Lei Lani will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret Ragsdale of Fort Gibson, Marnie Girdner of Keys, Marion John "Bub" Girdner (Bobbie) of Stilwell, Melissa Girdner of Park Hill, Marc Girdner (Marquita) of Welling; eleven granddaughters and ter grandsons; twenty-one great-grandchildren with two more on the way; two brothers Randy Snider and Jerry Calandrilla; and numerous other family members and friends. Lei Lani took in several children as her own that will also deeply mourn her loss.

Lei Lani was predeceased by her loving husband John William "Bill John" Girdner, grandparents, John and Izetta Self, parents, Marion Elmus Pense and Glenadean McDowell; sisters, Marion Sue, Ruthy, and Rauna; and brother, Kevin.

Lei Lani had several hobbies that she enjoyed. She liked to play the piano and the organ, paint ceramics, crochet, cook and bake treats for her family and friends, and spend time on her computer. She was a coach for soccer teams, Brownie Troop leader, and enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. The thing she most enjoyed was watching and cheering on her children and grandchildren during their sporting events.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., at Hart Funeral Home, 1506 N Grand, Tahlequah, OK 74464. An interment will follow at Hungry Mountain Cemetery, 27511 OK-100, Bunch, OK 74931.
