Leroy E. Duke Keys the son of Charlie George and Mary Wilson Keys was born December 19, 1943 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 5, 2014 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 15 days.
Duke enjoyed being a jokester and was ornery most of the time. He enjoyed drawing, playing cards, working puzzles, fishing, listening to music and he also did leather work. He was a clown and loved to be the life of the party. Duke was a guy that was always remembered anywhere hed been. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers.
Duke is survived by his children: Jenice Nelson and husband Cornelious of Tulsa, Tonya Keys of Ft. Worth, TX, Leanne Kirk and husband Mark of Dallas, TX, Donna Taft and husband Joe of Glendale, AZ, Linda Keys of Phoenix, AZ, Leroy E. Keys Jr. and wife Tammy of Tulsa and LaShanda Keys of Muskogee his sisters Dora McDowell, Shirley Ray, Charlene White all of Tahlequah, Deborah Keys of Broken Arrow, Sandra Todd of Tulsa, Pam LeSane Valdosta. GA, Gwendolyn Keys of Overland Park, KS, Norma Keys of Tulsa, Carla Kercheval of Shreveport, LA, Doreatha GandyEdmundson of San Diego, CA and Tammy Becknell of Scottsdale, GA 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
