Lillian La Faye Robbins

Lillian La Faye Rice-Robbins, 89, born September 13, 1936, passed from this life on Sunday, August 09, 2026. 

Funeral Service 10 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Hart Funeral Home Chapel, burial to follow at New Home Cemetery, Peggs, Ok. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 6 PM until 7 PM at Hart Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born and raised in Peggs, OK. She obtained her Master of Education from Northeastern State University and taught school in Oklahoma, Texas and Connecticut. Due to health reasons, she retired in 1995 from Tulsa Public Schools. After retiring from teaching school, she taught Sunday School until health issues prevented her from doing that any longer. She was a member of Family Christian Center Church. She loved to teach and loved the interaction with her students of all ages. She would be the first to tell you she wasn't perfect, but she did have a personal relationship with the one that is perfect. She was known by her friends as having an occasional "hissy fit", but she was quick to ask for forgiveness. She will be missed by most everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Richard Robbins, her mother and step-father, Nellie and Ralph Fisher, grandparents, Jim and Etta Reel, 3 brothers, Lacy, Leyon and Ralph Jr., and grandson, Joshua Baker.

She is survived by five children, Rhonda (Jack) Watson, Donna (Greg) Huddleston, Monty (Lisa) Robbins, Ronnie (Shelly) Robbins, Lori (Robert) Owens, seven grandchildren, Jacqueline Baker, Kristie Boudreaux, Nicholas Davis, Monty Robbins II, Jaycie Bogart, Ross Robbins and Jeremy Jones and thirteen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind three sisters, one brother, and a host of other relatives and friends.
