Linda Roberts

Linda Kathelene Roberts, (she went by Kathelene or Lene) beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, departed this world, Thursday October 9th, at 5:42 PM, at Ascension St John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a hard-fought battle against the rapid onset of overwhelming health complications at the far too young age of 57. Born the youngest of 6 children to Bennie and Ruth Ross in Long Beach, California on November 19th, 1967.

Kathelene could liven up any room, her laughter infectious, boisterous, and unmistakable. Never one to mince words, she left no room for interpretation as to how she thought and felt. She was generous to a fault and knew no strangers, although it might take her meeting you a few times to remember your name properly. If she couldn't, you woulundoubtedlyly end up with a nickname. A person in need is a person she would feed and assist in any way she could. Her impact on others is immeasurable. Her mark has certainly been left on this world and her legacy of joy, laughter, generosity, friendship, and love will live on through those of us left behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Ruth Ross, of Tahlequah, OK, and numerous other family members, cousins, friends, and other loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Roberts of Tahlequah, daughters, Brittani Boyle and Brooke Ross of Tahlequah, grandchildren, Jaylon Holt, Bailey Holt, and Grand pug, Nigel, all of Tahlequah, OK. Her brothers, Ben Ross, DeWayne Ross, her sisters, Pam Kreitner, Carolyn Ross, and Katie Penland. Her nephews, Michael Kreitner, Mark Kreitner, DJ Ross and their families, her nieces, Star Brooks, and Cherika Ross, and their families.

She is to be cremated, facilitated by Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah. Per her wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service. She asked only for friends and family to have a celebration of life and to honor her memory, do not grieve her passing on the anniversary of her passing but light a candle on her birthday and think of her fondly.
