Lizabeth Rider

Lizabeth Darlyene Rider, born November 12, 1955 at Claremore Indian Hospitalto Bill and Lorene Rider.

Liz is survived by her mother, Lorene Rider and sister, Donna Rider of Tulsa, OK, two
daughters, Layla Isaac and Natalie Wold of Seattle, WA , her son, Jimmy Briggs, of Tulsa, OK
and her seven grandchildren, whom she all adored.

Liz went to Webster High School and graduated from Rogers State University with a degree in
nursing and worked as a registered nurse for 20 plus years. She lived in many cities, including
Las Vegas, NV, throughout her life but returned to the place she considered home, Cookson,
OK.

She was a very giving person. She loved her children dearly and worked very hard to provide a
good life for them. She taught them through example, that if you work hard, you can play hard.
Her happiest times in life were spent with family at the lake house on holidays, and visiting
friends and family in Las Vegas. She always did her best to take care her immediate and
extended family. Most of all, she loved to have fun!

Liz was very private about her health. She struggled with Diabetes for many years. Her health
began to decline further, after the passing of her brother in 2005.
Liz would want to be remembered for her love of life, her Cherokee heritage, and her giving
heart!
