Lou Rhea

Tahlequah, OK ~ Lou Ann Rhea the daughter of Tommy and Nova (Ferrell) Mathis was born April 9, 1948 in Elk City, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 21, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 12 days.

Lou Ann was a very loving lady with a big heart. She loved animals and had several pets over the years. She enjoyed shopping, especially shoe shopping. Her family meant the world to her and she loved her grandchildren dearly. Lou Ann enjoyed playing a hand of Blackjack or shooting a game of craps on occasion. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father Tommy Mathis.

She is survived by a very loving family which includes her husband Bigie Rhea of the home; her children Lesa Greenhaw and husband Poncho of Tahlequah and Lee Rhea and wife Angela of Tahlequah; her mother Nova Mathis of Lawton, OK; her sisters Treva Parr and husband Earl of Irving, TX, Barbara Harris and husband David of Lubbock, TX and Loreta Aucion of Lawton, OK; and her grandchildren Taylor Greenhaw, Keaton Greenhaw and Violet Rhea. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
