Marcelleta Rogers Kelley entered her heavenly home on December 2, 2022, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She also was known to many as Marcy or "Muss" a nickname given to her by her Dad. She was born August 25, 1936 in Leachville, Arkansas to Charlie Bell and Ruby Rogers. At a fairly young age she and her family moved to Berryhill, Ok. Marcelleta grew up in Berryhill and graduated from Berryhill High School in 1954. She was very active in school playing sports and was also in the Band. Among her first jobs was being a "Soda Jerk" at a local drugstore. She married Bill Lewallen and they had three children: Debbie, Billy Don, and Steve. Billy Don passed away August 3, 1959. She is now with her son that she lost way too early.

As lives and times change, She was married to Leon Kelley July 3, 1972 in Miami, Oklahoma. He brought two daughters into her life, Lynn and Janice. She and Leon moved to the Tahlequah area and settled in the Moodys Community in 1977. After moving, they were members of Valley Heights Free Will Baptist Church in Salina, Oklahoma. Marcelleta worked at Northeastern State University in the Financial Aid Office and later the Department of Education. She retired from NSU on March 31, 2000.

Marcelleta is survived by her daughter Debbie Brunker, son, Steve Lewallen and wife Vicki, daughter Janice Bennett and husband John, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Two brothers Berneil and wife Mae Rogers and Gary Rogers. Two sisters-in-law Pat Rogers and Betty Rogers and close friend Glenda Farmer.

Marcelleta was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Bell and Ruby Lee Rogers, her son Billy Don Lewallen her husband Leon Kelley in 2008, and son in-law Rodney Brunker in 2016. Daughter Lynn Bratcher in 2021, three brothers Donald Rogers, Billy Wayne Rogers and Jimmy (PeeWee) Rogers and her sister Geraldine Click.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home with Gary Blackford officiating.

Burial will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.

Visitation hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Hart Funeral Home. Friends may leave online condolences at www.hartfuneralhome.net
