Margaret White

Margaret Ann White was born August 10, 1941 in Iowa City, IA to the late Maxwell and Junore White. She passed away December 19, 2015 in Tahlequah, OK.
She attended Bagley Elementary and Tahlequah Public Schools. She earned 3 degrees from Northeastern State University. She served in the US Women Army Corps in the 1960's. She was a teacher for 38 years; 31 years in the Kansas, OK Public Schools, retiring in May 2004.

She attended 1st Presbyterian Church in Tahlequah, where she sand in the choir and served as deacon, elder & trustee.

She is survived by her sister Catherine Ice and husband Jerry of Welling; 5 nieces Laura Pumpkin and husband David of Tahlequah, Yvonne McBride and husband Derral of Bixby, Pat Piechal and husband Edward of South Dakota,
Sherry Rhyne and husband Ken of Tulsa, Kim Mahaney and husband Alan of Tahlequah; 7 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 5 great great nephews, 3 great great nieces; her best friend of 50 years Patricia Scott; and many cherished friends.

Margaret loved her family, friends, and her church. She will be dearly missed by many.
