Margie Anderson

Margie Lorene Anderson the daughter of Albert and Retha (Stipes) Sellers was born August 29, 1937 in Missouri and departed this life on July 8, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 9 days.

Margie was a loving woman who enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and sewing. She made some of the best fudge around Christmas, and you couldn't walk away from her chicken and dumplings, made from scratch. She stayed busy as much as she could; sewing clothes for the kids and crocheting different items for herself and others. She enjoyed working with the race horses and she loved her dogs. She raised Yorkies and made sure that all her puppies went to a good home. Margie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Debora Crawford; her son Donnie Anderson; her brother Lonnie Sellers and her sister Betty Stipes.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband JD Anderson of the home in Vian; her daughter Lorrita Anderson of Tahlequah; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
