Mark Hogner

Mark Alan Hogner the son of Robert and Seletha (Reese) Hogner was born December 21, 1966 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 25, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 11 months and 4 days.

Mark grew up in the Briggs community and went to school at the Briggs Elementary. He graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1985 and started his career as an officer on the Piute Reservation in Falon, Nevada in 1986. He returned to Oklahoma around 1989 and worked in Security for different organizations but his last was for the United Keetoowah Band. He enjoyed cooking and reading, and he loved watching movies. He loved spending time with his family and did so as much as possible until the Lord called him home on Friday November 25, 2016. Mark touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth "Toot" Hogner.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his parents Robert and Seletha Hogner of Tahlequah; his son Kirk Alan Hogner and wife Ashley of Wagoner; his sisters Terri Kindell and husband Ron of Keys and Glenda Hedrick and husband Rodger of Duncan; and 2 grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
