Martin Uppendahl

Martin Hayes Uppendahl the son of Jonas and _______ Uppendahl was born July 6, 1929 in Amy, Kansas and departed this life on October 20, 2018 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 14 days.

Martin loved the Lord. He served as a pastor or missionary for over 50 years. He was a faithful servant and wanted to share the gospel with everyone that he could. He enjoyed the outdoors. He loved spending time fishing, camping or hiking. Martin touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Winifred Uppendahl; and his son Timothy Uppendahl.

He is survived by a loving family which includes his children Mary Jean Uppendahl of Tahlequah, Daniel Hayes Uppendahl of Hawaii, and Michael Jonathan Uppendahl of Corvallis, OR; and his siblings Delmar Uppendahl of Black Hills, CA, Milan Uppendahl of Prinville, OR, Gale Uppendahl of Baird, TX and Elizabeth Uppendahl of San Pedro, CA. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
