Marvin " Marvelous" Dale Mouse, 58, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Muskogee.
Marvin was born April 6, 1967, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to the late Robert Lee Mouse and Nancy Walker Mouse. He went to school in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and graduated from Barnsdall High School. After high school, he enjoyed playing softball and calling Bingo at American Legion and Keetoowah Bingo for several years.
Marvin worked as a resident assistant at Jack Brown Adolescent Treatment Center and worked several years at Surgery Clinic at Cherokee Nation W. W. Hastings Hospital.
He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and Oklahoma University Football. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at social gatherings, playing games, and eating. His specialty was cooking beans and cornbread and his famous deer chili. He spent the last two years at The Springs in Muskogee, where he made more friends and played more bingo.
He is survived by his children, Morgan Mouse and Shayla Mouse; his grandson, Ahksas Flute; sisters, Cora Vann and Nora Weaver; his brother, Jack Mouse; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nancy Mouse; brothers, Robert Mouse, Jr., David Mouse, Michael Mouse, Jody Mouse, and Clifford Mouse; sisters, Dora Vance and Lucy Overacker.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2025, 1:00 to 5:00 PM, at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 23, 2025, 10:00 AM, in the Chapel of Hart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Agent Cemetery.
