Mary Kindle

Mary Ann Kindle, a cherished member of her family and community, peacefully passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on July 16, 1949, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to James Masters and Ruth (Clark) Masters. Mary's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, compassion, and culinary delights shared with her family.

A devoted wife, Mary spent 58 wonderful years with her beloved husband, Gary Kindle. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter, stories, and the joy of family. Mary doted on her daughters, Pamela Byrd and Teri (Matt) Cochran, embracing every moment spent with them. She also welcomed her bonus daughter, Susan Thomas, and partner Susie Miller, into her heart, celebrating the bonds of family that extended beyond blood.

Mary was especially proud of her grandchildren, Aimee Swensen and Kindle Byrd, and her great-grandchildren, Liam Coats and Mason Coats. Their smiles brought her immeasurable joy, and she held their adventures close to her heart. She was also a beloved sister-in-law to Gloria Masters, Marcia Masters, Barbara Masters, and Letitia Masters, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by her many nephews, nieces, and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, as well as brothers Sherman Masters, James Masters II, Jon Masters, and Charles Masters, and sister Bonnie Doss. Their memories will forever remain a part of her spirit.

A private burial will take place at Tahlequah City Cemetery, where family and close friends will gather to honor Mary's beautiful life. Her warmth, kindness, and the meals she lovingly prepared will be profoundly missed, yet her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
