Mary Craig

Mary Jo Craig the daughter of Doyle Sr. and Annie (Townsend) Presley was born January 21, 1935 in Eldon, OK and departed this life on January 29, 2015 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years and 8 days.

Mary Jo was a lifelong resident of Tahlequah and enjoyed spending time with her husband of nearly 63 years Derwood Craig and her children and grandchildren. She loved working outside especially in the flower garden. She enjoyed shopping and garage sales, and spending her lunch time with her friends at the Keetoowah's. Mary Jo enjoyed football and following her son around to his football games. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and she loved the Lord and going to church. Mary Jo touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Doyle Presley Jr.; and her sister Maudean Brown.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Derwood Craig of the home; her sons Bob Craig and wife June of Owasso and Brad Craig and Erin O'Quin of Inola; her foster daughter Lana Martin of Norman; her brother Robert Presley of Riverside, CA; 4 grandchildren Amy Armstrong and husband Laird of Muskogee, Lyndsay Swindell and husband Mike of Owasso, Katie Arnold of Pryor and Jacob Craig and wife Jennifer also of Pryor; and 11 great grandchildren Chase Armstrong, Morgan Hewitt, Avery Armstrong, Matthew Hewitt, Abigail Armstrong, Presley Ann Swindell, Cooper John Swindell, Ayden Arnold, Ailey Arnold and Maddie Jo Craig. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
