Mary Holden

Mary Sue Holden the daughter of Ephraim and Addie (Smith) Hamilton was born January 8, 1927 in Eldon, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 28, 2018 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 91 years, 8 months and 20 days.

Mary Sue loved her Lord and Savior and had a strong faith in God. She instilled her love for the Lord in her children and grandchildren She enjoyed traveling with her husband and sister and one of the highlights of her life was when she and her sister traveled to Jerusalem. They wouldn't stay with the tour group, and they jumped a cab and went through the city their own way. She loved to read, she enjoyed sewing and cooking, though she wasn't the favorite cook, she enjoyed it any way. Next to her faith, her family was number one and she enjoyed spending time with them. Mary touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leon Holden; her daughter Melanee Anne Holden; 9 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her daughter Judy Morris and husband Jim of Hurst, TX; her son Jerry Holden and wife Nancy of Broken Arrow; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
