Mary Laster

Mary Helen Laster the daughter of Andy and Hersie Hubbard Taylor was born February 20, 1930 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on August 24, 2014 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 4 days.

Mary enjoyed life and enjoyed serving her Lord with the gift of music that he gave her. She loved playing the piano and was the pianist for her church, the Freewill Baptist Worship Center, for several years. Mary enjoyed dancing and would often go to the senior citizens dances. She enjoyed gospel music whether she was playing it on the piano or singing. Mary touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters LuNell Ferguson, Hazel Payne, and Clyde Lovett.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her son Gary Laster of Tahlequah her daughter Pamela Parker of Broken Arrow her brother A.C. Taylor and wife Connie of Seminole, OK her sisters Kathleen Ludwig and husband Ronald of Florence, KS and Jaqueline Moren of Claremore, OK her grandchildren Kristen Parker of Claremore, OK and Cassandra Parker of Glenpool, OK and her great grandson Eric. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
