Matthew Rock

Matthew Wayne Rock was born on February 9th, 1989 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Jacqueline Rock Proctor.  He passed away on July 9th, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Matthew loved listening to music and being around family and friends.  He was known to be the comedian of the family and could make everyone laugh.  Matthew loved his Native American Heritage and had pride in his culture and family.  Matthew worked on the farm for a few years but really excelled at doing anything anyone needed done. He was a Jack of all Trades.  Matthew will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Rock Proctor, and grandmother, Bessie Young Rock.  .

Matthew is survived by his sisters, Chastity Rock, Jodi LeAnn Rock, and Diamond Nicole Christie, daughter, Brooklynn Bailey, Aunt, Debora Coyote, Uncle, Jeffery and wife Diane Rock, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

A graveside service will be held at Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood, OK on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM
