Melissa Sandoval

Melissa Sandoval the daughter of Marcos and Paula Aguilar was born August 27, 1970 in Harlingen, Texas and departed this life on January 10, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 48 years, 4 months and 14 days.

Melissa loved her family and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the casino, cooking out, especially at the river, traveling, especially to Texas to visit family and friends and just bringing laughter into the lives of the people she was around. She was a very active person and had a huge heart. She loved helping people no matter what the situation may be. She was a great cook and she was proud of her family. She wanted all of her children to be together. Melissa touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Jesus Aguilar and her sister Diana Aguilar.



She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Antonio Licea of the home; her children Fabian Aguilar and wife Sheri of Tahlequah, Ricky Aguilar and wife Samantha Ruiz of Tahlequah, Elias Saavedra Jr. and wife Matilda Birdtail of Tahlequah, Samantha Marie Chapa and husband Jesus Chapa Eligio of Tahlequah and Paula Juanita Saavedra and husband Larry Castillo of Texas; her siblings Martha Quiroz of Harlingen, TX, Jose Aguilar of Harlingen, TX, Gracie Aguila Barron of Lubbock, TX, Elizabeth Aguilar of Wisconsin, and Marcos Fleeka Aguilar of Harlingen, TX and 14 grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
