Melody Parker

Melody Ross Parker was born on September 27, 1954 to Wayne and Eunice (Sally) Ross. She left for the glory of Heaven on August 8, 2020.

Melody studied at Markoma Bible Academy, Northeastern State University and Waynesville Career Center. During the years that she was a stay at home mom, Melody was able to be involved school activities, church groups and various other interests. After earning her LPN license in 1993, Melody worked in the world of healthcare. As her called vocation, Melody gave her all to caring for others.

As a child Melody and her family traveled Oklahoma and Arkansas, following her father’s job posts. After marrying Anthony (Toney) Parker in Tahlequah on December 16, 1975, she and her children, Amy and Tabitha, followed him in the same manner. During their marriage, Melody, Toney and their children lived in many places, including Apache, OK; Ft. Smith, AR; Hemsbach, Germany; Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and Burke, VA – returning to Tahlequah in 1997.

Greeting her in Heaven were Wayne, Sally, Jerry, Robert, Timothy and Thomas. Those left to come to Heaven later are her husband, Toney and family members Tabitha, Aaron, Adalia, Parker, Augustus, Summerlin, Jordan, Caster, Colleen, Amy, Dan, Maya, Elijah, Caleb, Joshua, Gemini, Rod, Debbie, Robin, Audrey, Megan, Ronald, Anthony, Philip, Elizabeth and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
